Meet the Team
Shana Bloom, Principal Broker
A Virginia native and Realtor since 2006, Shana earned her real estate license at the age of 19. She began her career representing a local developer, managing sales for new construction subdivisions in Central Virginia before transitioning into full-service residential sales while attending classes in business & leadership at University of Richmond. She incorporated her real estate business as Bloom Real Estate in 2014 and in 2017 she founded her own independent firm to expand upon her services, distinguish her approach, and to mentor and create job opportunities for other extraordinary individuals. In 2018 the National Association of Women Business Owners, recognized Shana as a “Rising Star Finalist” for making a visible impact in the industry & providing a unique service in a highly successful way. In her free time, she enjoys visiting with her family in Charlottesville, cooking at her home in Richmond, and exploring the James River trails with her rescue dogs Mazzy & Ziggy.
Rebecca Taylor, Associate Broker
Rebecca serves buyers and sellers throughout the Charlottesville area and surrounding counties, especially points west where she lives and where she grew up with her sister Shana Bloom. As a dedicated full-time agent since 2016, Rebecca is committed to building strong relationships and serving as an advocate, and she is confident supporting her clients with all types of residential properties, including historic, farm & estate, land, and new construction. In addition to her real estate expertise, Rebecca holds a BA and MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia University. With her background in writing and education, she listens closely, encourages questions, and is a skilled communicator and negotiator. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband Moby and their rescue animals, frequenting local independent bookstores, writing, and reading.
Christi Addison, Marketing Director
Christi assists our agents with marketing in the Richmond area where she’s made her home since 2006 and in the Charlottesville area where she grew up. As the daughter of a social worker and a professional photographer, service, integrity, and creativity are in her blood. With a BFA in Photography from VCU and thirteen years of experience in the service industry, Christi applies her professional marketing skills to her role at Bloom Real Estate. You may catch her at a local rock show in her free time, visiting with loved ones, or taking a class at the visual arts center.
Nicole Priest, Realtor®
A full-time residential agent since 2017, Nicole serves buyers and sellers in the Charlottesville and Richmond areas, her home since 2003. With a bachelor’s degree in psychology from VCU and 8 years of experience working with local law firms, Nicole brings a thoughtful and organized approach and a genuine, unflappable spirit to the process of buying or selling a home. As the Closing Coordinator specialist at Bloom Real Estate, she is on point with the details from contract to closing, providing clients with an enjoyable experience every step of the way. In her time off, Nicole enjoys gardening and spending time with her rescue dogs.
Moby Brown, Realtor®
Moby supports buyers and sellers in the Greater Charlottesville area, his home since childhood. After receiving his BA and Master’s degrees from the University of Virginia, Moby taught History at Charlottesville High School for five years before pursuing a growing passion for horticulture, transitioning from the teaching profession to establish his own landscaping business. A decade later, informed by his years of managing a business and his success building lasting client relationships, he earned his real estate license in 2022 and joined the Bloom Real Estate team. Moby enjoys applying his dedicated work ethic, helpful nature, and warm people skills in service of his clients and also welcomes opportunities to imagine creative possibilities for both interior and exterior spaces. On his days off, Moby delights in spending time with his wife Rebecca Taylor, hiking with his goofball dogs, and creating and performing music with his band.
Susy Meyer, Realtor®
Serving buyers and sellers in Richmond since 1992, Susy also holds the special designations of Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES). Susy shares her breadth of experience and her deep knowledge and love of the great city of Richmond with her clients. Prior to her career in real estate, Susy studied interior design at VCU, and she applies her passion for design and her vision for space planning to the process of buying or selling a home. She has a keen eye for supporting sellers with preparing their home for her professional marketing to realize maximum success. She has the ability to help buyers see past current layouts and envision potentials for making a house their home. Susy is a caring, attentive agent that loves learning about her clients hopes and dreams and supporting them. When she’s not working, you will find her spending quality time with her son or volunteering with her favorite organizations to give back to her Richmond community.
